Age

I have a funny story to share with you. Our church just finished up a performance called a road show. We have six weeks to prepare a 15 minute skit based on a theme, this year's being, "Let virtue garnish your thoughts." I was the choreographer, and I played a very small, last-minute impromptu role. While hanging out waiting for our stage time, I was talking with a group of about five youth. We were talking about our families and other general get-to-know-you information, and I mentioned that I had graduated in April. One young man asked me, "Which high school did you go to?" I laughed and laughed and laughed. I told him that I graduated with my Masters in Social Work from Brigham Young University and that I'm 25. Another young man sitting nearby said that he thought I was 19. So, if I keep up this young-looking trend, I should about 30 when I'm 40 and so on. My parents are very youthful-looking people so I have them to thank. What age would you say I look? :)

You look like you're younger than you are. But that is ok, because, like you said, when you're 40 you'll only look 30! You're cute Shauna! People always think I'm younger too, and that I don't look like I could have 2 kids. It's all that exercise and healthy food (plus ice cream!) that us Deehr women do!

I think you look not a day over 22. Are you really 25? That sounds old for you! Kyle and I are destined to be like Mom and Dad -- perpetually young-looking. Not a bad thing, I think.
