Trismas Tree!

When my niece, Lauren, was about three or four years old, she pronounced Christmas "Trismas."
I thought it was cute, and still employ it occasionally to this day, mostly in a professional setting.

We got our very first real Christmas tree on Saturday! Hooray for paying too much money for one! Oh, not hooray for that, but we had good times getting the tree. We went to a tree farm where we got to take a tractor ride out to the trees, choose our tree, and cut it down. Very rugged for us city slickers. We went with our Veggie Bunch family, of course, and Jonas and Kyle were so manly tying our Christmas trees to the top of their minivan. I took some pictures of the tree, but they were all too fuzzy, and it's nothing beautiful anyway. I love having a real tree. Next year, we would like to buy the $5 tag from the Forest Service and go cut down our own tree; a slightly cheaper option than this year's purchase. :)

yay! I love Christmas trees! We are getting ours tomorrow. We always get the $20 ones, because they're the cheapest. :)

I am so happy that you have a tree! It really feels like Christmas once your tree is up! Next year we will all go together into the woods!!
