Hi friends! Sorry it's taken me so long to post about our camping adventure. I've had the pics on the compy since Sunday, but have just now found time to post, as the girls are still asleep. Woo hoo! I am exercising in the evenings now to accommodate my crazy-studying hubby, which is when I used to do computer stuff. I feel like I'm falling behind in life. :)
Anyway, camping was fun! My dad was a great help, setting up and taking down my tent for me. The girls had lots of fun playing in the dirt with their cousins. Kj and her cousin Katie got along smashingly, playing princesses and Tinkerbell and all sorts of thing Kj doesn't usually play on her own. We hiked, we had campfires and s'mores and popcorn, we got dirty, we missed our beds; we experienced all the wonderful things about camping. Poor Kj had a rough time sleeping. She had a croup cough during the night, and that was fairly miserable, but we were great during the day. I felt really bad for all the nearby campers who could hear her coughing and crying. Those tents aren't known for their sound barriers.
I'll post about the relay next, which was also lots of fun. I just need to get some pics from the Red Wasp, as I failed to take any of my own. Happy July!
