A themeless post

Here's my belly at 15 weeks. Not much to look at, I know. I'm getting excited to actually look pregnant. I felt the baby swimming around in my tummy last night; it was fun to feel the little movements. This pregnancy has been so easy! I've been feeling a little woozy, like I really need to concentrate on keeping my knees bent, but besides that, I have nothing to complain of.

Most of you know that I use cloth diapers. Cotton Babies, a cloth diapering company by Bum Genius, Flips, and Econobums, is raising awareness to the awesomeness of cloth diapering. I love it myself. It's a HUGE money saver, and it also helps to save the Earth. Here's the Cotton Babies goals:

Introducing Change 3 Things, our 2011 cloth diaper awareness campaign

In an effort to promote general consumer awareness of cloth diapering, we have set some big goals for 2011.

* 100,000 parents committed to change 3 cloth diapers per day.*

* 30-50 million pounds of prevented landfill waste*
* 100 million disposable diapers not purchased.*
* $24,000,000 of combined savings for participating families**

Clothing diapering is nothing like our moms and grandmas used to do. There are lots and lots of options for diapers, some of them not too expensive to get started with. The Flips and Econobums are some less expensive options, but I haven't tried them. I bought all my diapers probably three years ago. They're still in great shape, and I see no reason why they won't make it to baby #3. We initially invested about $300 or $400 when we got started, but haven't had to put any more money into it since then. If we were to use strictly disposable diapers, we'd spend that amount in 6-8 months. Think of what we've saved over three years! But we are not a strictly cloth family. I use disposables when we go out on errands, for babysitters, for trips, etc. Feel free to ask me any questions. The end of my cloth diapering plug.

J is taking the bar next week. Hooray!!!! I am so excited for this torture to be over with. Poor guy, has to test the second day on his birthday. The girls and I are going to pick him up and take him out to eat when it's all over with. J feels very confident this time around. Please pray for him over the next few days. Thanks!

How adorable is she?

Kj is saying a prayer in the tree.

Cheesy smiles

I see that bump in there! So I need to call you about cloth diapers. I made a bunch a few years ago and have been using them on and off, but would love to go all the way. Chloe is such a heavy wetter though, that she is always just wet and I changer her all the time. I might need better diapers. I have no idea where to start! You can be my cloth diaper teacher :)
