Great news!

Little S's platelets are up to 106 (meaning 106,000).  That is great news!  It means that he has responded well to the treatment.  When we took him into the hospital, he was down to 4,000.  We are supposed to be anywhere between 150,000 - 200,000, so he was in bad shape in the beginning.  I am so grateful for modern medicine, good doctors and nursing staff, prayers of family and friends all over the world, and a loving Heavenly Father who hears my pleas at 11 pm when I can hardly concentrate on anything after an exhausting day of being in two hospitals.  Thank you everyone for your love and concern.  In hindsight, this was only a small bump in the road, but while climbing up the first half, it felt like a sizable hill at least.
