Sweet weekend

Does anyone else stink at remembering to take pictures besides me?

I had a fun-filled and busy weekend, thanks for asking! On Sunday I was in charge of Sharing Time and then we had a graduation party for Jonas. The Veggie Bunch, Snuggle Puppies, and Rexes joined us for some food, fun, and a "carnival" hosted by two cute nine-year old girls. The kids loved playing outside, and the adults loved them playing outside. Then I hosted preschool this morning, so I was busy with lots of preparations this weekend. (I sounded like my mother during that paragraph.)

I've been thinking recently how blessed my life is. I love staying at home with the kiddos. I mean, not every day is a joy to behold, but generally speaking, it's pretty nice just to stay home, take care of the house, play with the kids, etc. I do have a lot going on, and I never feel like I'm getting done all that I want to accomplish, but I'm grateful to not have to work full time and manage a household and raise children. For me, this situation works.

My mind is running all over the place right now. I'm trying to think of semi-interesting things to share with you, and I'm also thinking that my blog is kind of silly because I'm just talking about me. Maybe that's why about six people read it. :) Thank you, my six friends!

I might run a 12-mile trail run race this weekend. I've heard it's challenging. Should be fun!

Kj was a big help with putting the graduation cupcakes together. I stole the idea from my friend, who stole it from my sister's cupcake cookbook. You too can steal the idea!

The Bean eating my daughter's head.

My daughter giving The Bean a weird look.

My daughter and The Bean wanting to eat the cupcakes.

The Bean devouring a helpless worm.

Isn't the world really small sometimes! I know we did have a dance class together, you look so familiar, but I can't quite remember which one. Your family is beautiful! I like those cupcakes.

You're a great aunt to J. She loves spending time with you. I hope I can do the same for your girls as they get older.
