I looked at my blog and realized I haven't posted in awhile. I imagine that many of my faithful readers are pining away for another post, so here I am, the deliverer.
Due to my husband's awesomeness, I got away for a two-day, two-night stay for free, thanks to secret shopping. Hooray! I stopped at IKEA on the way up. I love to walk through that store. We've broken four of our bowls, but sadly they don't carry our color anymore (sniff). I didn't get any replacements because I'm not sure what color I want to incorporate. Do you care?
The stay was at a nice condo on Mt. Hood. I went hiking, ate too much chocolate, watched movies, and was BORED in a clean, peaceful environment. It was wonderful. It's great to be bored for a little bit because I am so rarely bored. Boredom can be replenishing. And I didn't have to clean up after anyone, cook for anyone, remember to go to the bathroom for someone, or change any diapers. Ahhh, bliss.
Oh! I ran a 6:39 mile today. That is fast for me! I was excited.
Can you believe it's almost Thanksgiving?!? Sadly, we are staying in town and aren't able to see my sis in CA (sniff sniff), but all of my family is coming here for Christmas. Wahoo! I am getting excited for Christmastime! But I do love Thanksgiving and the meaning behind the holiday. I love fruits and veggies, I love what the earth provides for us, and I love celebrating the bounty of the earth.
