Great news!

Good news so soon after posting sad news?!? Yes! Heavenly Father is so good to us; we are truly blessed. J's boss really wants him to stay on, so he's increasing his wage, giving him salary instead of hourly, and we're going to give the bar one more try. Whew! The salary pay is the biggest financial blessing to us because J can really take the time he needs to study without having to worry about taking some days/hours off of work and creating an even tighter budget. Just four days ago we had no idea what lay ahead, and now the "windows of heaven" have opened once again.

The bar is July 26th and 27th, getting close to little fetus' due date. I told J that if I go into labor/have the baby while he's gone for the test, I'm not telling him until he's all done testing. I hope it doesn't come to that, and I don't think it will, because the guess date isn't until August 8th. I just want everyone to be on the same page. :)

Thankfully we'll only have two months of torturous studying, compared to the four months of the last go-around. The weather is getting warmer and we can play outside more, so that will help.

BTW, I totally lied about going off of desserts. I just had four little chocolates and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Sorry to disappoint. My taste buds are rejoicing.

Next step, buying a minivan. If you have one, what do you like, not like about your minivan. If you could go back and buy one again, what would you do differently? Any advice is appreciated.

I am so glad things are looking up! We really like our Toyota Sienna (2005)(bought it in February). Ryah loves being able to open the automatic door, and it it HER job! I did not like the decked out newer models. We also really like the Honda Odessy (sp?).

Oh, I'm so relieved! I was afraid you were going to move to Spokane and move in with your parents. Not that living with your parents would be bad. I just wouldn't want to live with mine. And I wouldn't want you to move to Spokane, because I need you to trail run with me next summer.

So glad to hear your good news!! We had a mini van, and enjoyed it, but wanted something bigger and even more safe so we got our suburban. We LOVE it! We don't travel a lot because it costs so much to fill (we only fill it up once a month)but we knew this and thought safety outweighed price of gas, so when we do travel we really enjoy it!! You'll love the extra space and now that you'll be a mommy of three and a family of five, it's just the next step!

That's wonderful news! The Lord does look after us. Most of the time He has a better plan. We just have to figure that out. Love you guys!
