Zoo times and other sundries

The girls and I journeyed up to the zoo last week with our good friends for a day of fun. Kj was AWESOME, so obedient and accident-free. Moo was kind of ornery, but it was a fun day overall. Thank you so much to Tawny for climbing over the minivan seats to take care of the children's' needs. I thought that our camera batteries were low, so I didn't take many pictures. Turns out I was wrong. Oh well.

I think our favorite animals were the many bears, lions, and tigers we saw. Ha! Lions and tigers and bears, oh my! Big cats are so cool to watch. Moo growled at the tiger, and I think I saw it flinch. Hippos are amazingly fat and long for their stumpy legs, and giraffes are bizarrely cool, in my opinion.

Here are some other pictures of the girls. Kj has taken to drawing pictures of S "in the placenta." How cute is that? I love her drawings.

J goes up to Portland tomorrow to take the bar, so please say lots of prayers on his behalf. I am SO excited to be done with studying and the bar! After Wednesday, I informed J, I expect daily pampering until S's arrival. This pregnancy has been sadly deficient in the pampering department.

Kj is modeling her dinosaur belt.

Kj on her "throne," as she called it.

A napping polar bear.  His feet were sprawled out straight behind him.  It made me laugh.

The girls always love to pet the pygmy goats.

Kj with her creative genius.  I taught her the word "placenta," by the way.

Cute pics! I can't believe K even knows the word "placenta." Good luck to J and good job cooking that baby.
