We're moving!

Well, that subject line left no room for guessing, did it?  Our little family is journeying about two hours north to set down some new roots.  We are very grateful to have a new job, but leaving/moving is bittersweet for us.  My sister and her family and HH's sister live here, and we have a wonderful ward family.  There is so much support and love around us here, and we will feel the lack of it until we make new friends and find new support.

Some definite blessings to moving are that we will be closer to the temple (VERY close if we can rent the house we want), a major airport, the zoo, and lots and lots of other fun things to do.  But I will miss this town that we know so well now.  In the summer months, we went to a farm almost every week to select fresh, local produce.  I love the trail running here, the apple orchards, the size of this town.  But we'll get to find new favorite places.

The Lord has undoubtedly watched over our family since moving here.  We always knew we were lucky to get into our current home; the rent is extremely low for the space and amenities, it's a well-maintained neighborhood, and there are FIVE other member families who live in our small community.  The little old lady who lives across the street is a dear, and the tree-lined streets have been a source of visual joy for the past five years.

And now we are being led to a different city to be on our own as a little family again.  We are sad to leave Kj's current school.  Her teacher is outstanding, and the small-school feel is one I enjoyed a great deal.  But I know that the Lord will continue to watch over and bless us as He has for all of my life.  Thank you to all our wonderful friends that we've met and come to love here.  I will truly miss seeing your friendly faces and having those familiar interactions with you.  And we'll be back from time to time.

On to the packing!

It sounds like you'll be moving up our way. I'm curious to know where. Let us know if we can help with anything in your move.

Yay! That is so exciting for you guys. It is really nice to be close to a temple, too. We will have to let you know next time we are up that way!
