As you may have noticed from my baby fruit ticker, we are expecting baby #5. "Are you nuts?" you ask. Well, sort of. I never thought I would be a mom with five children 8 years old and younger. I do think that's crazy, if you look at only the numbers, but I received a very powerful heavenly experience that this it the time to bring this baby into the world. A similar experience happened with #4, but not as powerful. I have known since being pregnant with ChunkE that we would have another baby, and I think this last one will be a boy. I just didn't think it would happen so quickly.
I'm 12 weeks today and plugging along. This is actually my easiest pregnancy thus far, which is great, considering the other little people I get to care for. Today was a tiring, icky-feeling day, but those are the exception rather than the rule. I retired my running shoes early on, and I've felt not-as-sick since doing so. I wonder if waking up at 5:20 had something to do with feeling gross. :) Thank goodness for child care at the gym! I wouldn't get any exercise otherwise. I'm looking for a walking friend a couple of mornings a week, so hopefully that will pan out. I really miss breathing in all that fresh morning air from running. Since the rainy season began, we've been indoors a lot, but my phone tells me we have four days rain-free coming up, hooray! We will spend all the time outside that we can.
Oh yeah, back to being pregnant. My EDA is May 20. You know what I wish? That the baby will come three weeks early. That would be awesome. The last four weeks are the worst. It's not going to happen though. My babies come late. I can wish though.

What the what??!! You win for courage! Congrats! I was never good at being in tune about what baby genders were. I thought Kara and Kate were both boys.
Well, congrats!
Congratulations!! That's exciting. And 5 under 8 isn't crazy. That's totally manageable for you. One of my sisters just got pregnant and that will be 4 kids under the age of 3 (her oldest is still 2- but will be 3 when baby is born). I feel that wouldn't be so easily managed by me. So you got this in the bag. And I am glad the first part has been good to you, I hate yes HATE the first trimester. I would much rather have two 3rd trimesters and skip the 1st. Good luck with this baby growing journey:)
How exciting Shauna! If any mother can handle 5 kids under the age of 8-it would be you my multi-talented friend! I sure wish I could walk with you in the mornings. We miss you all! I'm glad your back to blogging though.
Congrats! You are just tenacious and spiritually inclined enough to survive, methinks. ;) I'm glad your blog is up again; I don't check it often, but I'm grateful to have some way to occasionally see what you all are up to!
