So what do you think of the new layout? I think it's just like my sister's, Marisa's, but oh well. Great minds think alike, eh?
Our little household is going to be radically changed in the next month or so. Jonas, Mandi, and I are not allowing ourselves to eat desserts for the next month. We are also challenging ourselves to get out of bed earlier so we can exercise a little bit more. Crazy, you say? You'd be right, but I am excited! If I've not yet alluded to my trial with sugar, best not get me started now. To put it succinctly, I've been trying to "quit" sugar for three or four years now, with no success. I'm a binge sugar addict: I can control myself for a week or so, but then I just eat and eat and eat sweets. I keep eating them despite my headache and general ill-feeling. I've tried reading about how bad sugar is for me, but to no avail. Apparently, knowing the bad consequences is not a strong enough deterrent because I don't get really overweight. Sigh. But! I have my family support, we are in it together, and I am eager to be better.
Supposedly, day four and week two are the hard spots. I'll let you know how things are going.
