J and I are currently on a 48-hour getaway, thanks to secret shopping and J's parents. Thank you, thank you, thank you to Goombaw and Papa for watching the girls for us!
Thankfully we were able to go on a walk this morning before the rain came steadily from 11 am to 6 pm. We hoped to go on a hike this afternoon, but didn't want to get soaked, so we ended up watching a couple of movies and completely relaxing. It was great! I think the last time I spent a day like this was in November when I got to go on my last secret shopping trip by myself. Battery recharging is a wonderful thing. We ate at the resort restaurant this evening and enjoyed our dishes. I had marionberry creme brule for dessert. Yum! I think it will keep my tummy full for quite some time.
We're eager to see the girls again and spend some time with J's parents. We hoped to go whale watching on Monday with his parents, but I don't think the weather will be dry enough to go. Too bad.
Gotta go watch some college b-ball now. It's such a novelty to us to have channels. I hardly watch sports at all, but I do enjoy March Madness. Go BYU!
