Merry Christmas!

I love wishing people Merry Christmas!  I hope your holiday season is going well.  Our Thanksgiving was a bit of a disaster, but we still had a good time.  We went to our hometown and my body decided to share a stomach bug with almost everyone.  Therefore, playing with my side of the family was not a possibility, and that was a big bummer.  But getting away as a family was fun, and the kids always love Goombaw's house.

We are staying put for Christmas and couldn't convince my parents to come visit, so we will be alone this year, and that's okay.  We are a family of six, after all.  We are looking forward to all the holiday fun of spending time together, new jammies on Christmas Eve, looking at Christmas lights, making yummy treats, shopping for a small cousin gift exchange, wonderful holiday music, etc.  We are all really looking forward to spending a day at my sister's house before Christmas.  We love to be with their family.

My blog is woefully neglected and uninteresting.  Thanks for still visiting.  Little Bell hasn't had an update since she was born six months ago, I think.  She is a delightful baby and my chubbiest one by far.  I relish her rolls.  She has a sweet one sticking out of her dimply knees, and her thighs and bum yearn to be pinched, which I do hourly.  Her private area has quite the canyons, something my other two girls didn't have, so I have to be careful to get everything out.  Her sleeping habits aren't the best, but that's par for the course with my babies.  She is finally taking longer naps almost daily, hooray!  Her happy manner is a great blessing to me.  The kids all adore her, and brother hasn't bitten her for about four days now, which is a step in the right direction.  I need to start her on solids, but I'm dragging my feet.  I have a high chair now, so there's really no excuse.  I think it's because it's one more thing to have to do everyday, and I'm not ready to commit.  She wants to eat, though. Her eyes get big and wide and she starts kicking and reaching whenever she sees us eating.  We love our baby!

Glad you came down to play before Christmas. E looks so different in photos than in person. Her hair always looks lighter in person.
