Round 2

Our little man is only 2 years old, but he's been to the hospital twice now, and no other child has been to the hospital yet, thank goodness!

Saturday night, he was running around playing with daddy.  He was on his way to the stairs when he tripped for an unknown reason and his head went right into the corner of the wall.  It split his skin open and he earned a gash about 1 inch long.  We called the on-call nurse (I LOVE that option!) and she said that any head wound longer than 1/4 inch needs to go to the ER to be seen, so off he and HH went.  HH was great and got pressure on the wound right away, so it stopped bleeding pretty quickly.  Besides a long wait in the ER, he got a little numbing action around the wound and some glue to put it back together.  MUCH easier than our last visit to the ER/hospital.
